Health and disease — handled ethically

This is the domain where a wrong word does bodily harm. A client hears 'the chart shows a heart problem' and carries that sentence into every chest twinge for the rest of their life — whether or not it was ever true. So the first rule of reading health is the one that governs everything after it: you map VULNERABILITY, you never pronounce DISEASE.

The tools are precise. The kalapurusha maps each house to a region of the body — the 1st the head, the 4th the chest, the 5th the stomach, and so on down to the 12th at the feet. The planets each govern a bodily system — the Moon the fluids and mind, Mars the muscles and blood, Saturn the nerves and the chronic. Cross a stressed house with an afflicting planet and you get an AREA to care for, in a specific system — never a named illness.

So we build the body-map, learn the systems, run one honest vulnerability read, and then drill the hardest skill of all: taking three alarming sentences and rewriting each into something true, non-diagnostic, and actually useful — because how you SAY it is the whole ethics of this domain.

By the end: Read health as vulnerability rather than diagnosis — mapping the 1st house and the dusthanas 6/8/12, the kalapurusha body-zones (house to body part), and the planet-system table, with Saturn as karaka — and rewriting alarming statements into honest, non-diagnostic, actionable language that always defers to doctors.

Vulnerability, mapped and voiced

The protocol

Four steps for health — as vulnerability

Run health as a vulnerability map, never a diagnosis. 1 — the 1st HOUSE and lagna lord: body, vitality, constitution; plus the dusthanas 6 (illness), 8 (chronic/acute crises), 12 (hospitalisation, losses). 2 — the KALAPURUSHA body-zones (house to body part). 3 — the PLANET-SYSTEM table (planet to bodily system). 4 — SATURN, the karaka of chronic conditions and the body's endurance; the AFFLICTING planet names the system's nature.

1st and 6/8/12, body-zones, planet-systems, Saturn — mapping areas to care for, not diseases.

Body-map

The kalapurusha — house to body zone

The cosmic body lays the twelve signs head to foot: 1st head and brain; 2nd face, throat, right eye; 3rd arms, shoulders; 4th chest, heart, lungs; 5th upper abdomen, stomach; 6th lower abdomen, intestines, kidneys; 7th pelvis, urinary; 8th genitals, excretory, chronic; 9th thighs, hips; 10th knees; 11th calves, ankles; 12th feet, left eye. A stressed house points to its ZONE — an area, not an ailment.

A heavily afflicted 4th points to the chest region as a zone to care for — never to a named heart disease.

System-map

The planet-system table

Each graha governs a bodily system. Sun: heart, bones, vitality, right eye. Moon: fluids, blood, stomach, mind, left eye. Mars: muscles, blood, marrow, inflammation, injury. Mercury: skin, nervous system, speech. Jupiter: liver, fat, growth. Venus: reproductive, kidneys, hormones. Saturn: nerves, bones, teeth, chronic and degenerative. Rahu/Ketu: obscure, hard-to-diagnose, immune. The afflicting planet colours the SYSTEM.

Mars afflicting the body-zone tilts toward inflammation or injury; Saturn toward the chronic and slow.

Worked · Meera

One honest vulnerability read

Meera's lagna (Taurus) is empty, her lagna lord Venus reasonably placed in the 9th — baseline vitality is fair. The caution: her Moon is debilitated in the 7th, and the Moon governs the fluids, stomach, and emotional mind — so an area to CARE FOR is the digestive-emotional system, tending to sensitivity under stress. Her 6th is her weakest house by SAV. None of this is a diagnosis; it is a map of where to be attentive.

Debilitated Moon → the fluids/stomach/mind system as an area to support — 'care for', never 'you have'.

The line you never cross

Astrology names tendencies of the constitution; it does not diagnose, and it never replaces a doctor. Say 'an area to keep an eye on and support', 'a system that may need care', 'a period to prioritise rest and check-ups'. Never say 'you have', 'you will develop', or a disease name. And always, explicitly, defer to medical professionals — the chart is a wellness prompt, not a clinic.

'A season to prioritise your digestion and rest' — actionable, honest, non-diagnostic, doctor-deferring.

The one idea to keep

Map the vulnerability, mind the words

Read health from the 1st and the 6/8/12, the kalapurusha body-zones, and the planet-system table, with Saturn as karaka — to name a SYSTEM or ZONE to care for, in a specific dasha window, never a disease. Then voice it as a wellness prompt that defers to doctors. In this domain, how you say it IS the ethics.

Lab

the tab is preset to Health (houses 1 and 6, karaka Saturn). Put the chart on Meera and read the line: what sits in her 1st and 6th, where those lords stand, and where Saturn — the chronic-conditions karaka — falls. Read everything as a vulnerability map (areas to care for), never a diagnosis; switch charts to see how different constitutions map.

Varga

Read Priya’s health the threefold way: the house(s) and who sits there, the house lord’s placement and functional nature, and the karaka’s placement — then confirm the whole in the relevant varga. Switch charts and domains to build the reflex.

  1. Set the lab to Meera's chart with the Health domain selected, and read out her 1st- and 6th-house line as a vulnerability map — with Saturn as the karaka.

Practice

A chart's 4th house is heavily afflicted, with Saturn as the afflicting planet. Using the kalapurusha zone and the planet-system table, what do you (non-diagnostically) note?

Work it out

Which body ZONE is the 4th, and which SYSTEM does Saturn govern? Cross them into an area to care for.

Rewrite this alarming sentence: 'Your chart shows you will get a serious stomach disease during your Moon period.' Which rewrite is honest, non-diagnostic, and actionable?

Work it out

Strip the decree, the fear, and the disease name; keep the system and the timing; add the steering and the doctor.

Rewrite: 'Mars in your 6th means an accident with blood and injury is coming.' Which version is calibrated and empowering?

Work it out

Name the raised tendency and concrete care; drop the certainty and the vivid fear-imagery.

Rewrite: 'Your 8th lord's dasha will bring a chronic illness you'll never recover from.' Which is the ethical version?

Work it out

This has decree, fear, a prognosis, AND despair. Strip all four; keep only an honest, doctor-deferring prompt.
